Looking for information on your GM warranty? This is where you can learn more about our warranty policies at REEDS, which are governed by General Motors in South Africa. Remember to service your car as per the manufacturer's schedule in order to validate either the warranty, service or maintenance plans – it could be costly if something happens and your warranty, service or maintenance plan has lapsed.
General Motors South Africa - Policies
Missed or late car services could result in excessive wear and tear or consequential damage, which General Motors cannot be held liable for. For this reason, the policy below applies to all services.
It is mandatory that you have your car serviced according to the recommended intervals below at whichever parameter occurs first:
These intervals must adhere to the inside of a 2 000km or 2-month window either side of the interval. The warranty offer excludes items as outlined in your Service Booklet.
The service intervals for all Chevrolet, Opel and Isuzu cars that still are in their factory warranty period are every 15 000km or 12 months (whichever comes first).
For your Peace of Mind…
Unlike non-approved workshops, all authorised General Motors South Africa dealers and GM approved panel beaters have trained technicians, the latest service technical information, special tools and diagnostic equipment available when working on your car, to ensure reliable, economical and hassle-free ownership.
